Re: Tide lowers price of diapers?

I hope you didn't leave them there. Say, "No thanks, I'll just go sell them on diaperswappers/Spots Corner for $12 each!"

Re: Tide lowers price of diapers?

Many stores did this too where I used to live. But they were that way with any "commercial non-diapering detergents" (as they put it) and their diapers were super cheap, all under $10.00 even the best looking ones. But 12 dollars for seven diapers is wayyyyyyy to low to me. I am not an elite parent but I don't prefer Tide washed diapers either. Prefer being the key word there. Tide burns my DD's bits and I end up having to strip forever to get it out.

I've been to several diaper swaps, and I have never stuck my nose in a diaper. Nor have I ever seen anyone else do that either! I may get 4 inches away to see if there are major stinkies, but I wouldn't be able to identify a detergent. Very weird!

Re: Tide lowers price of diapers?

I took some brand new fitteds to our children's consignment store to sell to them - they offered me a dollar each for brand new in package, wouldn't even "take" the ones out of package (still brand new) and stuck their nose up at any wahm diapers. Best to sell to those who know what they are talking about!

Sounds like she was trying to get something for nothing out of you. That is a bunch of bologna.

Re: Tide lowers price of diapers?

That lady fed you a line of garbage. When we had troubles with all the made for cd detergents... I walked into Jillian's Drawers downtown and asked Mandi what they recommend... Tide Original Powder was her answer. I don't think she'd be telling mamas this if she didn't know her stuff...and she talks with LOTS of hard core CD mamas!
