Not dead yet! I hate when you purchase something, then the next morning you see they refunded you because they sold to someone else! That frustrates me because I never know if it was an honest mistake, or their lying and decided not to sell, or if they got a better offer. Honesty ppl! LOL

I'll be honest.. sometimes when people offer me trades or offer me items on my ISO; if I'm not in dire need of it at that moment or if it's something I WANT and can hold off on.. I'm reluctant to respond-- MOSTLY because I'm afraid of someone trying to talk me in to it.. It's kind of my own way to fight the urge to get something I shouldn't. But I keep it on my list just in case a deal does come my way..

I sometimes ignore mamas who have something I'm ISO and they want $$ for it when I have it in the IHA/ISO and clearly listed I'm looking to trade. Just b/c that really annoys me, if I wanted to buy it I probably would have unless it was a SUPER hard to find item or something.

You don't look suspicious you just live in the wrong state. Nothing sucks the joy out of trading for me then getting turned down because I dont live in the lower 48.

. LOL! I always trade/sell to people outside the contiguous US. The only issue I have is when we agree on what seems like a fair trade, or fair price, then they send me their addy, and (suprise!) its Canada

! I really dont mind as long as they tell me in advance, but I hate when people choose not to mention it until the deal is done. Those are always the people who dont have their location showing under heir avi pic, OR they have some crazy made up saying in place of a location.

The bias against poor ol' Hawaii and Alaska is terrible! There used to be a guy who would accept packages in CA and take them to HI on his regular trips there, saving tons in shipping costs, but not anymore. Wish we could have a coop of filling large FRBs to/from Hawaii and Alaska mommas!
