Please recommend a good PUL nighttime diaper

So I have loved my BGOS for nighttime with an extra hemp insert up until about 2 months ago. My LO needed more absorption so I added 2 extra hemp = a BGOS MF insert + the two hemp inserts. It was bulky enough that by the morning the leg elastics were gaping and her morning poo would leak out the sides.
I ordered 2 drybees lg fleece diapers and they are great at accommodating lots of inserts and containing the morning poo but her jammies and her blanket will feel "cold/damp" and be kind of stinky.
I'm waiting on some super do inserts. Would these solve the "damp" issue?

I'd like to hold onto these fleece pockets but I'm not loving the extra laundry (blankets, etc.).

I am looking for a PUL pocket dipe with a wide pocket to accomodate lots of inserts but still get a good, snug fit on her legs.
Any ideas?!

on the drybees what order are you putting the inserts in? We found MUCH better success with making sure that the hemp insert was the "outer" layer.

The PUL combos that work for us overnight are:
1 SoftBums Omni with either a bamboo pod and bamboo mini pod stuffed in the pocket or the Super Dry Touch pod snapped on top

2 Thirsties duo fab fitted with a large thirsties insert stuffed in the "pocket" under a thirsties duo wrap.

I had been stuffing my BGOS with a flip organic insert for a while but he's started leaking out of it so I started adding a Babykicks hemparoo and no leaks and no gaps. I use Omni's as pockets during the day so I know they would be awesome for night time too, I just couldn't afford that many Omni's when I made the switch. I'm slowly getting more though so hopefully soon I can put him in Omni's full time!

Are softbums better than BG 4.0? Never heard of them till today, but I'm new...

We don't do PUL ON, but have you thought about RaR? The inner gusset should hold the morning poo, even if you get a leg gap from the night stuffing. The crotch is wide enough to accommodate many inserts, though I find that the actual pocket opening could be bigger.

I would try Flip organic inserts with hemp babies doublers stuffed in your BG.

SoftBums Omnis are amazing for nighttime! I hadn't ever found one that worked for us until they came out! Plus there are sales going on..*wink Giggle.

Re: Please recommend a good PUL nighttime diaper

Well!! Thanks for the info mamas. I do MF OS insert closest to baby then 2 hemp on the "outside" next to the pul. They are all soaked in the am. I just got a few flip organic to try with the drybees. I'll see how those go with the fleece and the pul. My LO has a high rise a skinny waist and thin legs. Not a good combo for a front-closure diaper. I love my BGs though. I'm gonna give the omnis a try if the flip organic doesn't do the trick. ***Is it normal for her jammies and blankets to feel damp/cold with the fleece?*** If this is just a matter of getting the right/appropriate absorption with the fleece I don't want to give up on them yet.

Re: Please recommend a good PUL nighttime diaper

I always preferred microfleece to microsuede but the rar seemed bulky for day. The gussets would be awesome though!! Totally forgot about that feature.
