A "safe" list for Diaper Rash Creams

Let's start a list of all the creams that are safe for cloth.

DD is starting to get a little bit patchy on her tush and I may need some cream? We have never had a rash before on her 5 month old bum. I don't want a rash to form so we may preemptive strike it.

1. Method squeaky green
2. CJ's Butter
3. Grandma El's

I always use coconut oil when my lo has a red bum. I know it's not a cream but it is used for the same purpose. I've never has issues either!

Re: A "safe" list for Diaper Rash Creams

Well, I've used a couple. 1st was Northern Essence Diaper Salve in a stick. I won't buy it again. I made the mistake of putting it on my LO's red, sore looking bum. He screamed and I had to wipe it off. I stopped using it when it happened a second time. I then tried CJ's butter in a stick and tub version. I used mostly the stick at first and had some repelling issues with my BG's. It seems to wash out of the fleece better. Now I save the stick for the diaper bag and use mostly the tub version. I've since upped the water temp on my washer. My hot wash was only around 100-110 degrees. It's washing out much better from all the diapers now. I occasionally have a problem with one or two particular diapers, but the majority are fine. I really like the CJ's, esp. the tub version because it does a great job. It's heavenly on dry hands and feet too!

And, CJ's has AWESOME customer service!
