Meatloaf Anyone?

I took out some ground beef to make meatloaf for dinner. I usually make the onion soup packet, ketchup, egg, bread crumb recipe but I dont think we have any onion soup mix

So, post your favorite meatloaf recipes! I think I want to try something new

I found this one that sounds good but I am kinda craving my 'usual'.

Re: Meatloaf Anyone?

this is my friends recipe that I'm going to try this weekend.

Li’L Cheddar Meat Loaves
Kim Salem
1 egg
cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
cup quick-cooking oats
cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 lb. lean ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard

In a bowl, beat the egg and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt. Add beef and mix well. Shape into eight loaves; place in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes or until the meat is not longer pink.

Hmm I love Pioneer Woman's recipe. It was amazing! And I wasn't one that liked meatloaf before.

I highly suggest you also cook it on a broiler like she says. Otherwise the bacon won't crisp up and it will just cook in the fat-gross!

Re: Meatloaf Anyone?

ok, I tried hers and the bacon was just like that! Use the broiler? I think I may have covered it with foil which probably just cancels out the broiler part.
