Re: can I see your sewing stations?

My machines live on that table now. I will take new pics. I told myself that I was going to clean it tomorrow so if I follow through I will take pics as well.

Re: can I see your sewing stations?

I set my machines up on the dinning room table when I want to sew. Wish I had some space to spread out.

Re: can I see your sewing stations?

Lots of pics. I was in there for 5 hours rearranging and cleaning. YAY!

Our DiCarpo Designs/Sewing/Craft/Play room.

Our old dining room table was made smaller by taking the leaf out. I replaced my cutting board today with a bigger, double sided, self healing one. The bin holds polymailers and other shipping supplies.

The reading and toy corner. Plus the wall "gallery".

Closet from top to bottom.
*Fabric Dye.
*Box of Maple rings
*Tote of reject fabric to be sewn through. Pile of zorb, hemp, organic cotton fleece, wool interlock. Hanging shelf with wipes & snappis, PUL & organic bamboo velour. Underneath are 20 dozen prefolds to be given away. (details to come)
*Messy corner of big scraps, print fleece and other random things that I shove in there. Under the desk is overflow of fleece solids. Play tent, felt playhouse and kite. Box of crafting supplies.

My favorite. OBV (organic bamboo velour). ♥

Ikea wardrobe with the doors taken off.
Left side from top to bottom.
*Felt, box of OBV cuts, bamboo batting.
*Malden Mills Fleece
*Cubes full of antipill fleece.

Right side from top to bottom.
*Back up sewing machine, odds and ends, scale.
* Fabric tote full of crafting supplies, bin of random cuts, spools of tulle.
*Woven cotton, chenille, & corduroy. Knit Cottons.
*Scraps for the babies to "cut & sew". Other misc things for them to play with.

My machines.
*25 year old Husqvarna gifted to me by my Grandma. ♥ It out shines and out performs my brand new back up machine.
*My Babylock Serger gifted to me by a friend. ♥ Not sure how I lived without this machine for so long.

My ever changing board. Notice the decorations that have been given to me to spruce it up. ♥ I took all of the yarn down today and put it somewhere else. That pic is for another day.

The sewing table.

The shipping center and play area.

The cutting tables

The drying racks complete with a fan to speed up the process. Thread and fabric storage. And a little view of the walk in closet where most of my wool is stored.

Re: can I see your sewing stations?

I took those pictures when I first moved my sewing room down there. I can assure you that it is NOT that clean now...LOL. I have fabric everywhere right now and my five year old decided to bust up a big 'ol sheet of styrofoam so there is a bunch of white crap all over the place. It is due for a cleaning tomorrow!
