I usually don't drop till I'm pushing. I did drop to about a 0 station fairly early with my 1st and 3rd babies, around 36wks each time and stayed that way till delivery. But with all my others, they move up and down towards the end but don't really engage and stay that way until I'm pushing them out. I think it's because there's more room down there from having so many babies. My baby will sink down super low when I'm walking but then pop back up when I'm sitting or laying down.

I'm not sure either....with my first I don't think I really "dropped" though either. Both of mine were/are super low to begin with. But, this one is engaged and ready to go at this point and my pubic bone started killing me this week too. Plus, for about 2 hrs yesterday it felt like I had a battering ram trying to jam it's way out of my cervix. Started losing my mucus plug today too. Who knows.....

Yes, dropped about 2 weeks ago and have lots of pressure & pain now. I'm 35 weeks. I plan to go a little early, but hopefully not too much!

Update: I'm just 37 weeks, and according to my midwife I've definitely dropped. The head is "right there" as my MW exclaimed when she checked me today and I'm dilated 2cm.

No idea. I'm almost 34 weeks. I suppose I'll know more at my next checkup once she starts doing more exams. I feel like he might be a little lower, but I have a short torso so everything is kind of uncomfortable in general. I pee a lot but that's because I'm ALWAYS THIRSTY. I have been feeling more BH contractions and uncomfortableness once in awhile. But since I have nothing to compare it to.....?

my mom says it looks like I have dropped. He has always been low to me, but yesterday when I had an u/s to check fluid they said they couldnt measure cervix or really see it because baby was so low.

Baby was wiggling around a bit yesterday (and flipped breech the night before, the stinker) and there's a little bit more space between my boobs and my belly now. I don't really have a lot of pressure lower though so I don't know if the baby has "dropped" so much as changed positions. I'm extremely short torsoed too so that doesn't help. 33 weeks today.

dropped 4 weeks ago, making it @ 32 weeks. However I have not begun to dilate, only 50% effaced as of this past Tues. I had no change for 3 weeks, she thinks that I will start dilating now. There is A LOT of pressure and pain down there. OB could feel babies head 4 weeks ago and I feel like she is just gonna pop out anytime. It does hurt quite a bit some times.

Mine tend to sit very low the whole time, but I haven't dropped yet. I don't usually until it's time to push. I'm almost 33 weeks and shooting for 38 this time (I've not yet made it past 37 with any of mine).
