Another Ergo question thread :-)

So I searched existing threads for awhile and didn't find what I was looking for...forgive me if this question gets asked often! Here goes: I just got my Ergo this week and am so far LOVING it! The problem I'm having though is that my LO seems to be sitting too low in the carrier...she can barely see over the top without craning her neck. Looks uncomfortable to me! Is this an issue with adjustments (like, can I tighten or loosen something that would help), or do I just need to try to put a folded up blanket up under her to boost her up a bit? She's 8 months old and probably around 19 pounds, so it's not like she's too small for the carrier or anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I plan on using this thing a LOT!

I don't know if this will help, but when my DS was shorter I tried to make sure there was a little fabric sagging (not sure that's the best word) between his crotch and the waistband on me. That seemed to shorten the length of the carrier against his back. HTH.

I would fold up a small blanket and put it under her bum. That should prop her up a bit and give her some more support.

Glad you're loving your ERGO! The ERGO has a deep seat so that babies will be seated nice and deeply down in those seat darts...as she grows it won't be a problem and as long as she's content now, there's no need to do anything, but if you like, you can put a think blanket underneath her.

I had that problem too... A blanket works nicely if you can get it situated right.
