Head down?

Hi mamas... I'm still kinda new here....
Anywho I'm due may 25th with my 2nd baby girl who is still head up?! My first baby was head down from the very first time they checked... So my midwives are already talking about me seeing a ob for a manual version?! I'll be 34 weeks on Monday.

Anyways I was just curious about if your baby is head up head down? How far along you are... Or even your past experiences with any of this breech baby stuff... I really don't want a c-section if I can avoid it...

Re: Head down?

I know exactly what you are going through!
Here's my thread from last week :
http://diaperswappers.com/forum/show....php?t=1187221

As far as we know baby is still head down, and I have another ultrasound on April 20 to check.. oh and I'm due May 3 so the manual version was done at 35.5 weeks!
Good luck

Oh wow thanks just read your thread. I'm going to call a chiropractor monday morning just to see if that helps and honestly i could use the adjust anyways... But my midwife was saying they would do the version more around 37 weeks. I hope they don't wait that long. Seems like it would be easier earlier on but then again might be easier for baby to turn back also...

Guess that I'll just trust that whatever is supposed to happen will!

Re: Head down?

I'm due May 24th and at 30wks when I had a 3d/4d US she was head down, but she could have flipped since then. Isn't it possible for them to flip right up until the end? I hope your MW can do a version or a chiropractor can help!!

Re: Head down?

I'm due the 29th and he's definitely head down. My sister is due the 20th and her baby is breech, but won't talk about flipping until closer to 36wks.

Re: Head down?

I'm almost 35 week and baby has been head down for a week. Still, I wouldn't worry if I was you. At least not yet. There is still room in there to flip baby most likely and it is also very likely that baby will turn on their own still.

Re: Head down?

I will be 34 weeks on Wednesday, and mine is still head deep in my ribs! But, I am a scheduled c/s anyway, so I guess I don't need to worry...I do kinda hate it, though, cause my Dr. had said that if I went into labor on my own, I could try for a VBAC....but, if he don't move, that ain't happening!
