yep, I bought it because we have a son now and I wanted some "manly" carriers for him! heheh But as an added bonus we have some carriers now that DH can wear and not be floral!

Re: Dad babywearing

I usually tuck a diaper and some wipes in a baggy somewhere! Or a small purse with a few odds and ends. Trips to the park usually I leave things in the car.

We will sometimes take a bag, but more often than not its a small purse with just a single change and DDs cup!

Re: Dad babywearing

two questions:

1.) will your dh babywear? YES!

2.) if yes, what kinds will he use? He likes mei tai's He has tried an ergo, beco butterfly II, Sleepy wrap, pouch sling & a ring sling & really just prefers the mt but would like to try a half buckle mei tai.

if no, what kinds do you have that he has rejected?

oh and a bonus one... If no, what are his excuses, err, "reasons"?

Re: Dad babywearing

Yes...it was daddy's idea to get one!
We only have a Beco Gemini in black...he will take our son without me being around and loves it.

I am sure we would put anything on as long as it wasn't girlie and he knew how to put it on.

DBF will with a Kangaroo Korner fleece pouch or his skulls/flames BabyHawk mei tai. He rejected the ring sling because neither of us can figure it out. He won't use the wrap because it's not long enough for him. He won't use my Galaxy Grey Ergo because "it's too girly". It's grey!

Yes. Ergo and baby bjorn.
He would not wear the moby or the baby hawk (when i had it on loan) b/c they were too "girly"

1. Yes!

2. He uses everything we've got...baby k'tan (black), babyhawk (grey, with a girly side for dd and a boyish side for ds), ergo (galaxy grey), and beco butterfly II (aiden.) His (current) favorite is the bbII, but he really misses snuggling up with tiny ds in a k'tan.

We can both play with our DD outside and walk the dog together while one or both kiddos sleep. It really opens things up a bit, gives you more options to be more active!

We were at a farmer's market this past weekend and there was absolutely NO way we could've used a stroller....it was just way too crowded. So I put ds in the BBII, dh wore dd in the Ergo, and off we went! The looks we were getting from all the parents trying to navigate the crowds with strollers or wiggly toddlers on their shoulders was priceless
