Help with pricing

I am trying to figure out how much to ask for pieces of my newborn and small stash. This will be my first time selling diapers, so I am still trying to figure out how to price.

The ones that are bugging me most are the PeeWells. Small PWs sell for $10 plus $2.95 shipping. These were all bought new by me and used for about 5 weeks. They have no stains, but the outers do have very minimal fading. The inners are just as soft as they were when they came to me.

So, my diaper experts, what do I price them at?

I'm not a diaper expert but $10ppd sounds fair to me...or you could search the sold forum and see what the smalls went for there.

I once read where one momma posted that she wouldn't pay more than half the price of a new diaper, but that seems excessive to mark it that low. Were you thinking more like $12ppd since you have to pay to ship it out?

Re: Help with pricing

I was thinking more like 6 or 7, but figured I was pricing way too low. I don't want to overcharge, but I do need to get some money back since I have to buy him some medium covers. I know these are heavier than some fitteds, so probably at least $2 to ship. I don't have a scale, so I don't know for certain.

Re: Help with pricing

I try to mark them a little lower than I paid for them. So if I bought it for $10 + shipping and it was in that condition I'd probably ask $9 ppd. If it was in really excellent condition (no fading/ staining) I'd probably ask $9.50. For ones that are stained, I'd ask less.

Re: Help with pricing

One of the sites (I think it was Pin Stripes & Polka Dots) said to price newborn diapers around 70% retail and larger dipes at 50% retail. That would make them $9ppd - which sounds about right

I agree! You can always reduce the price if no one's interested I think people will pay a higher amount for them since they are so hard to come by, yk?
