Breastfeeding and babywearing

I'm having trouble figuring out the logistics of BF and BW concurrently. DS (3 1/2 mo; 2 mo adjusted) hates having his head pulled on when nursing, so he gets angry if I try to feed him in a RS or my Baby KTan. He LOVES being in either the RS or BK otherwise.

This would make my life so much easier since he nurses for an hour at a time about every 2 hours during the day.

Help!

Do you have a SSC? I find those pretty easy to nurse in. Just loosen, slide baby down and voila!

Here is an example...This was in my Gemini last week in Disney

Please excuse the weird shape my head is in this photo. My DH was obsessed with using the wide angle lense so everything is stretched out! Looks like a reflection in one of those fun house mirrors!

Have you tried a cradle hold in a ring sling?

Ooh! I was trying to figure out how to BF in my Gemini the other day and couldn't. Looks like you took off the shoulder strap on the side you were going to nurse on? When you say "loosen" do you mean the waist belt?

For OP: at 2 months adjusted age, you probably won't be able to make nursing in an SSC work, just because your LO won't have the head and torso control necessary to make it work. A ring sling or wrap like your K'Tan or a woven will be your best bet, but both will cover your kiddo's head slightly.

Yep. He gets mad because of the fabric pulling on his head.

Personally, I think a wrap would work better for nursing at that age.

I have seen a youtube video on nursing in a RS that seemed helpful, maybe you could search around there? I love instructional videos!
