I second Dawn.

It isn't super green at all , but it works so well.

I put some on an old toothbrush and brush the stain. Seriously it works everytime.

I am no longer afraid of grease.

For stains that are visible (grease stains are my invisible stains) I soak in a ton of Oxy Clean.

Charlies sells an all purpose cleaner that is great on laundry stains. I got a gallon jug and have been using it over a year. It is a concentrate, so it lasts for ever.

Oxyclean works great for stains! DD spilled tomato sauce on her brand new white shirt and after an overnight soak in Oxyclean it is out!

Have you used the Fels Naptha directly on the stain as a pre-treatment? I swear that stuff works miracles!

I love the Baby Powder idea--we don't normally keep powder in the house, but I bet cornstarch might work similarly! I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the idea!
