Diaper Swappers

I hate having a mish mosh stash. I "need" more than one of something. I seem to always purchase in lots of 6 or more. Is that weird? I like the uniformity of 2 or 3 different brands. Good thing I'm not a hyena or I'd be out some serious dough

Yeah, I understand what you mean....it just makes things easier! Especially for DH's who have NO clue what goes with what or how or where, LOL!!! My poor DH has no clue and when he tries to do it himself he always messes up big time!

I just buy what I like. I am just starting to build my stash so I think that I might be more picky later.

I'm torn...I started with pockets and have sold some off to add other stuff to my stash. I like to have about three of a "type" of diaper so that I can coordinate a day's outfit -- trim dipes for under pants; cute AIOs or covers to wear as a bottom on it's own; solids for under dresses...

Three changes work for us b/c (maybe TMI...) Caroline starts the morning in a prefold and cover for her morning poop, then she wears one of the three for our am activity, naps in a fb, second for an outing, naps in a fb, third for the afternoon/evening, then plays naked or in a fitted, then bedtime routine and sleep in a fb.

Yes, I hate to have just one type of diaper lying around. I sold a lot of my "stragglers" and now I have a pretty uniform stash.

For the most part I"m the same way.. If I'm trying something new sometimes I buy two instead of just one which I shouldn't b/c I don't always want to keep it! I do kind of wish my stash was only made up of a few different types of diapers but I can't help myself from trying new stuff all the time

I'm like this with everything. I like sets of things. I have 20 (I think?) FB and 4 Fitteds. I'm so not eclectic with anything in my life! When I was a kid I'd get very distressed if a marker or crayon was missing in my set.

I am very much the opposite. I love trying new things! It screws DH up BIG time, especially when the dipes just come off the line and the AI2 and fitteds snap in soakers aren't snapped in yet...he never knows which one goes with which, lol!

Our routine is sort of like the previous mamas. She is in a prefold and cover every morning for breakfast, because she gets morning baths and I don't want to waste a cute on on 20 mins. Then she gets her bath and a cute AI2 or fitted with cover (depending on weather and her outfit) She stays in cute dipes until the evening when she is back in PFs and then she sleeps in a PF and wool or a pocket with a leobaby insert. Somedays I love my PFs and she gets them every change, sometimes, just for the morning. Depends on where we are going and what is clean!! LOL!!

Yep! Count me in. I have to have even numbers of all my dipes. Anal? Yes? But it's what I like. I have 2, 4, or 6 of everything.

I'm the same too! Aside from my self made pocket fitteds I only have FBs and FFs now.
