Baking soda gender test?

I just tried it and got zero fizz.. Which means I SHOULD be having a girl. I've had a strong feeling it was going to be a girl for a while but who really knows? lol. I guess we'll find out in a couple months if its right or not.

Has anyone ever done this before?

Re: Baking soda gender test?

Put a tablespoon of baking soda in a cup then pee on it. If it fizzes than you'll be having a boy. If nothing happens your suppose to be having a girl.

Kinda a fun little thing to try.

dang, I just went pee! Ok, next time I have to pee I am doing this! Obviously it's 50/50 of being right LOL, but it'll be fun nonetheless!

I just tried it and it totally fizzed - it sizzled and popped and foamed up like a mug of beer. Crazy!!

I know, I wasn't expecting that! I've been thinking we're going to have another girl, but now I wonder.. hmm

I googled it and it does seem to have a pretty decent success rate from the stories I saw. It will be fun to dig this thread up in November and see if it was right!
