Re: kawaii- tell me your story

I don't have any experience with the nighttime diapers, but I do have experience with their one size pockets (will this help at all??)

The price was excellent. The diaper seemed to be of decent quality for the price. The problem we ran into were the thighs... My DD has chunky thighs and a very small waist. If I wanted it to fit properly on her waist, her poor thighs would red marks... and if it fit her thighs? HAH... she was always soaked. I suppose they would work fine for a child who doesn't have those problems, though. Lol. We went to prefolds after that and we haven't looked back.

HTH, even a little bit. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

I have some Minky (3) but I have never tried them on overnights! I bought them for the print. I like them. They are very very soft! But they are very bulky. Of course for nights that wouldn't matter much. My overall opinion is it a good diaper. It's not my favorite but it's not my least fave either. They never leak either!

I have seven Kawaii diapers. I use my minky bamboos for overnight and never have any issues.

Re: kawaii- tell me your story

I like my kawaii over most of my dipes...I have BG 4.0aplix, Happy Heines, and rumparoos...my kawaii get used up first. I like them for day, night and car rides...I have had some leak but not like the other brands do...Mine are just the 1 size in snaps and aplix and I love them...But the laundry tabs on the aplix do wear out quickly, but the rest of the velcro is by far my fave over the bg 4.0...
They are very soft and very inexpensive. If nothing else they are a fabulous workhorse diaper...
I thought I had to have the more expensive diapers so I bought rumparooz and had them delaminate, the BG 4.0 aplix tabs curl at the ends and scratch baby, and the HH leak almost every time. Every baby is different, but I love the hip snap kawaii...

I haven't used the goodnights I have aplix and snaps and I hate them!! I had heard such good things about them and recommended them to lots of people before actually buying them myself. When I did buy them I was so disappointed in how cheap they felt. IDK why bc they ARE cheap...I just expected more from them. Then I used them once and the velcro strip started coming off on TWO of them. I was so mad!

Re: kawaii- tell me your story

I've used the goodnight with snaps. We never had a leak--it was the only thing that would work at night for DS1 when he was around two. HOWEVER, the elastic left welts around his thighs. He's not amazingly chunky either. I even tried leaving the bottom snaps unsnapped, but they still hurt his legs. I've heard other people have had the same problem.

I have six of the bamboo minky. They are absorbant, but my DD has chunky thighs and they leave angry red marks on her if she's in them for too long. Definitely not the first ones I reach for, although I know some people love them.
