Re: Anybody else not doing a "first outfit" and that type of stuff?

I wasn't going to do a special outfit, then my Dad bought me a cute cute newborn outfit - so my daughter will be wearing that home from the hospital.

That is gorgeous!

Having a hb here too, I have all of her "stuff" in it's place in my room, so I figure I'll just grab something that seems like it will fit off of her shelf when the time comes. There are a couple of onsies I have that all the kids wore, so that's special in a way, but they're far from fancy, or new looking lol

HB for us too I have GN stuff since we are on team green, same as we had for my DS. I did go buy one cute girl sleeper and one new boy one so this baby has his or her own new outfit But with my son all we had him in was a GMD Orange, cover and t-shirt since he was born in August in Vegas!

Our older DD came home in a one piece cotton sleeper with a cute design (said something about being daddys girl). Our newest DD is coming home in a 2 piece outfit (with a little cotton long sleeve top if weather is cooler but i expect it to be really warm). Its cotton and seems comfy

Homebirth here as well, and I have an ooga booga Softbums to put on her, along with an ooga hat and newborn shoes to match. I figure a white cotton side-snap shirt and the ooga set will be very cute for a first outfit.

I haven't picked anything particularly special out either. I'll pack a few onezies in different sizes but nothing in particular. I'm totally anticipating having to change the outfit by the time we get home anyway
