Did your LO ever outgrow PUL sensitivity?

My newborn is sensitive to PUL so I'm about to buy some wool. I just don't know if he would outgrow this...if he does I'm not going to buy a lot of bigger sizes IYKWIM. Please tell me your experience with PUL sensitivity. Thanks!

My son doesn't have a PUL sensitivity {as far as I know}.
But I'm just curious: how did you know? Was there a rash or something? I've always been curious how people figured out that it was the PUL rather than the insert material, etc.

I know because when I put PUL covers on him then there's redness right where the PUL touches the skin. I've been putting them on loosely so it wouldn't be from tightness. Also I put a swaddlebees simplex on him and the side snapping tabs are PUL on the inside and he's got these big reddish patches right where the tabs touched his skin. And I don't have that with my first son. I'm trying different covers too so that I can tell if maybe a certain type of PUL is causing it.

My ds can't wear PUL, not because he's allergic to the material, but because it makes him hot and rashy. He needs a breathable cover to stay cooler. I think a true PUL allergy/sensitivity would cause a rash wherever the PUL touches skin.

Thats what my DS gets, a rash where the PUL touches his skin.
