What are your CD Must Have's?

I am going to be cd'g my son (due June 4th) and I want to be prepared.
What are your must have's for cd? Not just the diapers but also all the accessories... wet bags, sprayer, detergent, diaper rash solutions, etc. What are your favorite brands?
TIA!

Yep, lots of wipes. You can NOT have enough!

For pail liners, I like Wahmies, and for wetbags I like Leslie's Boutique. I love my BG sprayer, and couldn't live without it. However, you don't really need it until your LO is eating solids. For rash cream, I LOVE CJ's BUTTer spray. It's amazing

Re: What are your CD Must Have's?

About 14 pocket diapers, a wet bag for your diaper bag, a bin of some sort (even a small rubbermaid container would work) to put the dirty ones in near your change table (you're going to wash them daily so there won't ever be that many in there). Sprayer (DIY with a small hose and a garden nozzle attached to your laundry tub). For wipes you can just buy a ton of baby washclothes at the dollar store and prep them and put them in a wipes warmer. That's all we have and we're good to go! We're new too and have been fine for 3 months

Re: What are your CD Must Have's?

Lets see...

Wet bags - all different sizes and lots of them!
Wipes - I have about 4 dozen
Snappies - does not work well for everyone, but I LOVE them.
Preemie Prefolds - WONDERFUL newborn dipes & WONDERFUL doublers (love bummis)
CJ's butter - in any of the scents
Vinager - the BEST fabric softener
Oh, and corn starch! My favorite ounce of prevention

Re: What are your CD Must Have's?

Wetbags- Planetwise pail liners work great, and I prefer Bummis wetbags for the diaper bag. I hate the two piece ones like planetwise that get all messed up in the washer.
Wipes: Thirsties! they're kinda expensive, but so worth it. They really do the job.
Prefolds: Everyone should have prefolds. They're a good back up diaper, and great for adding to any other diaper. I have to agree with PP and say I like Bummis, but their price hike lately makes me cry. GMD are very awesome too.
Rash cream- CJ's is nice, but I'm a die hard Desitin user for bad rashes. Its all that works for us.
Ecover is a great CD safe softner. Vinegar is known to break down elastic and PUL faster, so use caution.
We have a BumGenius sprayer and ah, I'd say try a different brand. Ours leaks like a SOB. I hate mopping up the floor after using it.
Bummis flushable liners. The small ones will look like they fit a diaper nicely, but will move around too much. The big ones will look massive, but cover everything and don't shift. Go big, or go home.

Re: What are your CD Must Have's?

CJ's BUTTer. I'm a wee bit obsessed with that entire line of products - Carcass Cleaner, lip balm, lotion, rash cream, the whole bit.

Wipes!!! There's no such thing as too many. I need to grab a few more myself.

Wool wash bars from Crow Mountain Crafts. Absolutely fantastic!!

And wool, period. Love and cherish the few woolies that I own.

Oh yeah, and I adore Ecover. I don't know how I ever lived without it. It's an all natural fabric softener, the only one I've ever heard you could safely use on CD's with no issues. I use it in every load and my diapers, even the older ones I bought off FSOT, are just squishy soft like new.
