Asking question for a friend...
A friend of mine is moving to Taiwan via Finland in about a month. Her youngest child is growing out of her bucket seat and they need to get something. Right now she is in a Graco seat up to 30 lbs and is out growing it by height. She would like to extended RF. She wouldn't mind getting a seat in Finland but she needs it to be easy to get in and out of a car as they will not have a car for the summer that they are in Finland. She has family there that can get the seat to pick them up from the airport. Obviously she will be taking the seat to Taiwan when she moves there in the fall. She would also be open to getting a seat here.
Any recommendations? Thanks for your help!

Re: Asking question for a friend...
My experience with ERFing seats is that they aren't easy to get in and out of a car (like a bucket) and I don't know of a bucket that ERFs passed about 25-30lbs or so. My suggestion would still be the Graco MyRide 65. It RF to 45 lbs and FF to 65lbs. It has an easy to use strap for LATCH, and there's no weaving things through holes. It's as easy as you are going to get for a quality ERFing seat. And she won't have to buy another seat at all for a good long time. My HUGE 7 1/2 year old weighs about 72 lbs, and my 5 1/2 year old weighs only 38lbs, just for some reference on the amount of time this particular seat could last.

Re: Asking question for a friend...
I would be REALLY tempted to get a Swedish seat while she's in Finland if that's possible, just because I think they're so cool. Between now and then, she could get a $40 Scenera for the trip and for between now and the fall. It's light weight and easy to travel with.

Re: Asking question for a friend...
16 months old. She was born right before Christmas in 2009.
Oh and she is going from here to Finland for the summer then to Taiwan for the beginning of the school year (probably September).

Re: Asking question for a friend...
Do you have a name of a sweedish seat she should get? That would fit her needs?
