What I'll miss about being pregnant...

I'm feeling totally impatient wanting to have this baby, so I thought I'd think about what I'm going to miss about being pregnant.

I'm going to miss the little kicks and punches...DS climbing up on my lap and pointing to my belly saying "baby"...having DS all to myself every day since there will now be two!!!

What are you going to miss?

I'll miss the first couple months of little punches and kicks... the ones that don't hurt!

I will miss having an only child... and am nervous about splitting my time between two.

I'll miss carrying around a teensy diaper bag with only a couple snacks and a diaper for my toddler...

mmmmm....let me think about that one. I am sure I will miss stuff but right now, I have had so many symptoms and very little movement. Super quiet baby. Oh I will miss shopping for teeny tiny fluff! That kept me busy for months

I will miss the HCG in my body allowing me to eat whatever I want- HA
Not really, I have been watching what I eat but getting to spoil myself on Pizza has been awesome!

Also miss how perfect strangers are so excited for me and give me sweet blessings <3

Also my skin has been perfect so I hope that does not change- pregnancy has been such a gift for me this time around

I will miss the movements, and the time I've gotten to spend with my youngest before the new baby gets here. She is EXTREMELY attached to me, so I'm worried about how she will react to a new baby on Mommy.

I'll miss feeling baby move inside. I'll also miss being able to eat meals without interruption and shower without feeling rushed.

Mine will definitely be spending time with my lil girl all by ourselves and I'm worried about splitting my tine between them.

Re: What I'll miss about being pregnant...

I will miss being able to sleep through the night the most. My toddler has spoiled me with him sleeping 12 hours at night!

I will also miss being able to just run out the door without having to pack a bag.

With that said though, I'm REALLY ready for him to be here. I'm due in 2 days and am absolutely miserable!! And it makes it worse since my first came at 38w4d, so I thought for sure he would be here by now, but I guess he's just a stubborn guy .

Nothing. I will miss nothing. I am a miserable pregnant lady.

No, that's a lie, I'll miss being able to use pregnancy as an excuse to whatever I want out of my husband. Like Blizzards from Dairy Queen at 10oclock at night.

Re: What I'll miss about being pregnant...

I agree with all of the PPs, I'll miss feeling the baby move inside me, time alone with my son, the sweet words and blessings that everyone gives, and the smiles when they ask about the baby...

I will also miss the anticipation - awaiting the baby, getting everything ready, wondering if we have another boy or a girl, what he or she will look like, and what his or personality will be and how he or she will fit into our family.

I appreciate this thread to reflect on what we'll all miss, even though I know each of us is anxious to meet our baby... I guarantee that after our babies are here all of us will miss something and reflect on our pregnancies in a very different way. to the mamas who are having such a hard time.
