Re: You know you have a nursing toddler when...

I'm having brain issues this morning, and can't figure out the multi-quote atm...

However, I laughed so hard at these responses! I can totally relate to nursing all of my DC's toys, to the excitement at seeing boobs, to the gymnastics, and to the signing for milk. It is truly an adventure to nurse a toddler!

This thread makes me laugh

It's cute when she does that, but I'm soooo tired of nursing her. She's 3 years and 4 months. She was almost completely weaned, and then baby brother came along....ack...oh, well, it was worth it. She has a terrible diet otherwise!

When I'm getting in or out of the shower, she says "How count the boobs? One! Two! Two boobs!"
I imagined this one being said in the Count's voice (from Sesame Street) followed by his funny laugh ('ah ah ah') and a lightning/thunder crash

Re: You know you have a nursing toddler when...

...when ds points out other women that have boobs-in public!
...when ds lets me know when one side is out of milk....he says "done, done" and pulls my shirt back down.
...when he is finished eating a meal at the table and instead of drinking from the sippy cup-comes to me asking for "boobie" in a sad sad voice...
....and the sweetest, that happened last night; he nursed during the night and flopped back over in bed and starting singing in the loudest voice "boobie, boobie, treetop, treetop" (i have been singing "rockabye baby in the treetop a LOT lately too him) then he fell immediately to sleep too cute! even at 3am!

... when he pops off, grabs your breast in his hand, points it at your face and asks, "Want a bite?"

awww...mine turned one yesterday, but he loves to kneel at my side and help himself. He is working really hard to figure out the clips on my bra!

Last week he figured out how to say, "otra tetita" (other boob in Spanish) when he is done on one side and wants the other.
