Re: You know you have a nursing toddler when...

Last week I was trying to nurse DS to sleep and he stops, looks up at me and signs "more" and "please"...it was too cute and when I brought out the other boob, he let out the biggest happy laugh.

I like the cute times like that...they help me not to go nuts when he's doing gymnastic aka "extreme nursing".

Ha! I remember DD doing this!

It's cute when she does that, but I'm soooo tired of nursing her. She's 3 years and 4 months. She was almost completely weaned, and then baby brother came along....ack...oh, well, it was worth it. She has a terrible diet otherwise!

When I'm getting in or out of the shower, she says "How count the boobs? One! Two! Two boobs!"
Omg that is cute!

My ds always pinches my belly flub when we are nursing laying down. He will untuck my shirt and everything. Its super annoying. He also climbs around while nursing and likes to stick his foot in my face. And he always tries to nurse in the shower.

Dd always hummed when she nursed.

once I was listening to my ipod while nursing and DS popped off, reached up and took one of the ear buds out of my ears, put it in his and went right back to nursing. It was so funny.

Hahah a lot of these are so my son too. Especially the boob gymnastics and asking for the other side. He calls my boobs ninnies and sometimes he'll point to my boob and yell out, "OOOH It's a pink ninnie!!!" or "One, two, two ninnies!"

OMG, these are SO funny! I laughed out loud at the "pink ninny", and the nursing with ear buds. That is hysterical!

These are all so cute and sweet. Notnursing now but my almost 3 year old still says "I see your milks" in an excited little voice every time I change. He also points out milks whenever we pass the bra section. :-)

Re: You know you have a nursing toddler when...

DS3 has been weaned for a year now but he went through a very awkward phase of playing with the nipple he wasnt nursing on, when I asked him to stop he would tell me he had to get the milk ready because he was "momost done".

Other funnies...
...he points out nipples on anyone he sees them on, yelling "NURSE!"
...he growls before he latches on the boob like a wild animal.. (think little baby with the mouth wide open and rapidly turning side to side, then BAM! their on...)

These stories are all precious. Makes me really look forward to a new nursing relationship with DD.

mine would do this too. He would sit more upright, open his mouth REALLY wide, and fall into my chest like a dive bomber.

I also get "Bye boobies" when I change. This actually started after we weaned, it made me a little sad.

I have a bandaid on my finger and DS didn't know what it was, so I told him it was a boo-boo. He turned on my lap and pointed to my breast and said "boobie?" no son, not boobie. One track mind that one.
