B6 question

I saw the post about b6 and morning sickness so I went to the store and was going to buy some. First of all I only found the 100 mg tabs and on the label it said not to be taken by pregnant women??? Any suggestions? Am I looking at the wrong kind?

I'm trying to remember but I think I took it 2-3 times a day.

Re: B6 question

25mg 2 or 3 times a day. Right now I have 100 mg pills and I cut it in half and take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 with supper. I think your not supposed to exceed 200mg when pregnant.

Re: B6 question

My NP had me use 50mg with each meal. It worked okay, but mine got bad enough I eventually had to go with Rx strength due to hydration issues. Just make sure your staying hydrated!

That's funny I just came from my OB and he said to do the same thing and it really helps. I'm headed to the drug store.

Re: B6 question

Glad you asked. Yesterday I took 200 mg + whatever is in my prenatal. Oh no. But I did throw up my prenatal right after.

Re: B6 question

I have 100mg tablets, i just broke them into quarters and with each meal take a quarter (25mg). They actually say to not exceed 100mg/ day in some things I have read.
