We had our ultrasound this morning and we've got a very healthy and active little baby in there! Everything looks great and the tech is pretty sure it's a BOY! She spent a really long time trying to get the perfect shot so we could be sure and this is one of the pics she gave us. Any moms of boys want to weigh in?



We're really so excited! The other thing was that she estimated my due date 8 days earlier than I'm due. So, now I'm left wondering what they'll tell me at my next appt. I'm just glad that he looks healthy!

I can't really make out what I'm looking at in the photo - and I'm usually pretty good at these!

But if you're pretty far along she's probably right! Congrats!!

It's about as good as a "potty shot" as she could get. She pointed out boy parts quite a few times (I'm 19 weeks) but I just can't wrap my head around it! LOL!
I kept looking for the tell-tale girl parts through the whole thing and never saw them though.

I see boy parts! My first ultrasound with my boy at 16 weeks was a perfect boy shot straight through the legs but my one at 20 weeks looked more like this. I was confused too.

She is right, that picture makes it really hard to tell. IF I'm looking in the right area, I *think* see the boy part. I definitely don't see the girly lines.

If that's a potty shot, I'd say yes, boy for sure. It looks to me like you can see one leg and boy parts there, but not the second leg?

It looks sort of like the one I got with DS2 (we got a better one at a different u/s, but this is the not so clear one):
