Tension headache heeellllppppppp
Woke up at 8AM this morning with knees, hips, back and neck hurting which has caused a tension headache. Now 11 hours later ITS STILL HERE. Please help me get rid of it!
I'm really hoping to be able to afford a chiropractor when hubby gets paid this week

Re: Tension headache heeellllppppppp
Ice packs, ice packs, ice packs. best thing ever. apply to the back of your head/neck. Also, you might try some caffeine.

Re: Tension headache heeellllppppppp
I second a little caffeine and either ice packs or hot compress/pack on head or back of neck and tylenol. If you can lay down in a dark room with all of those it will help.

Re: Tension headache heeellllppppppp
I get tension headaches quite frequently. A chiropractor really helps me, but I haven't been able to afford to see one in over a year. When I am not pregnant I take Aleve but it isn't safe while pregnant.
This is what I have found that works for me when I can't go to the chiropractor or take Aleve: 1. Tylenol (it might not do much but it is better than nothing) 2. Ice packs (this works wonders! I use to do heat but discovered ice is much more effective) 3. Caffeine (sometimes helps, not always) 4. Keeping the lights dim and limiting noise. Usually I just have to try to make it through the day and then once I go to sleep and wake up the next morning it is gone.
