Is the market too saturated for...

Blankets and loveys? Just tossing an idea around here, my sewing isn't quite up to selling yet. But I love colors and fabric and blankets and I need a project to keep me from going .

So I thought about making blankets to sell. Minky, velour, and others. Hopefully getting into dyeing as well. Also appliqueing them, names, animals, and so on. And doing loveys and wipes as well.

So do you think there's room for another wahm in this area?

I voted yes!! I say there is always room for one more.
You could always do something unique with the stitching or something to make them different from others. Just an idea

This is something I'd really like to do, but my little machine is giving me fits so it may be a while before I get the ball rolling.

I voted maybe, but only because that really depends.... You can make it your own and it would be fine.

Uniqueness counts! So I voted 'no'. I think the applique idea would help and while there are many mama's making lovey's/blanky's/wipes, don't forget that at least half of them don't stock regularly. So there's always figuring a way to take advantage of that.
