How old is yOur DS? My DS just completely weaned on mothers day, but we were down to just nursing in the early am, and my milk completely dried up. It was sad, but at least it was pretty easy and not upsetting to him at all. Has he slept on his own before? I hope it works easily for you.

AOTD- I think so. I drink 3-4 24 oz bottles. I always carry a refillable water bottle with me, it is the only way I can make sure I get enough water. But I'm with Holly, i've had issues with PTL and lots of Braxton-hicks, drinking a ton of water is the only way to keep them at bay.

How is it that something as brainless as ironing can wear me out so much. I just ironed 9 dress shirts and 3 pairs of dress pants for DH. He has clothes in his closet again. Poor guy has been wearing shirts he hates for a while now! I am pooped though. I still have so much ironing that I need to do, I just can't stand there anymore. I even tried to make it more interesting and brought my ironing board up to the computer and was watching episodes of The Office while I worked.

It's so HOT here today- DS is out back playing with the hose. I need to get him a sprinkler or something. DD was running around out back but she was getting all red and sweaty and I don't have any sunscreen for her yet so she and I are inside now. She is dancing to "Runaway Baby" by Bruno Mars right now. She is so cute. I will try to get a video to share

Ahhhhh, ok! I thought maybe there was something about not drinking sparkling water while pregnant that I missed! haha! A soda stream is honestly a really good deal if you drink a lot of that, especially since you guys are in such a hot climate zone! We got the cheapest model but I highly recommend the bigger tank. The smaller tank just didn't work as well as the bigger one did and you have to get it filled more often. Wish we had a place that filled the big ones locally but we don't. I need to send it with dh one day since he drives down there for work. That's a good selling point on the gift, the initial investment may cost you $80 + tax, more if you get extra bottles to have cold on hand, and a bigger carbonater tank, but that's 120 2-liter bottles which you could easily drink in a couple months. The tank exchanges are like $30, but again, that gets you so much more water than 30 - 2liter bottles. I can find the 1.5L bottles on sale for .89 sometimes, but if I drank them all the time it would be $1.29 each. Add to that the enviornmental savings of ALL those 2liter bottles you're saving!! We have a redemption value added to ours too so you're saving that as well!

AFM- I just spend most of the morning with my friend, the one I mentioned before that I let stay here when she needs since she's been having struggles lately. Her 9yr old DS was with her since he has counseling at noon so we let him swim for a bit while we sat in the sunshine chatting. It was nice actually. She's been doing alright. She finally got on food stamps and got a hotel stipend. They will pay for her to stay in a hotel for 16 days. She also found out she qualifies for unemployment which is another $200/mo. She wasn't supposed to qualify for cash aid this month due to her tax returns being in her account for part of April (before she bought her car) but when she used her EBT card today it showed a cash balance and a food balance so she has to call and find out what that's all about. She doesn't want to spend it only to find out it was a mistake and end up owing them money! She still doesn't have a place to go after her 16 days of hotel time is up, BUT her ex got arrested last night for violating the protective order so she may be able to move up north with a friend like she was hoping. It's such a mess! I hate that she has to go through this but there were SO MANY mistakes she made along the way it's hard to really feel sorry for her. I feel bad for the kids more than anything which is why I let her stay here if she needs to and do what I can to help.
Got most of my Tupperware together for the party tomorrow night! Still need to find some type of top to wear with my dressy jeans otherwise I have to wear a dress and I didn't really want to. So far 24 people have RSVPd a solid yes so this could really be a HUGE party for me! I can make like $400 that night in just a couple of hours with a $50 average order!! Woohoo! My last party had a great turn out but it was a lot of older ladies so my order average was only like $36! Even with a $36 average I would have $250 in commission, but if I can get to $1200 in sales I earn a sales bonus PLUS award items which vary month to month. Right now they're reusable tote bags in different styles and colors. Very cute!!

We have a Soda Stream. Love it for Sparkling water AND Soda (which we only drink occasionally) It's yummy and worth the investment. I've had mine for a year and never replaced the tank. We have the Genesis.
