Re: beeswax candles

I know a lot of stores sell supplies if you are looking for a project to do with your kids. Might be fun and cheap. I'd try any online (probably easier to find than retail) store that sells Waldorf or Montessori school supplies

Re: beeswax candles

Valerie, you've made the right decision to go with beeswax. For anyone who may not realize the differences between the different candle waxes, check my blog post, "The Lowdown on Candle Waxes" (I can't post a link here, but you can access it through my website.) I am a member of the Canadian Beeswax Chandlers' Guild & sell beeswax candles from my Smallbones Studio website.
Beeswax is more expensive than other candles, but they last a lot longer & don't put toxic pollutants into your air. (Beware of 'fragrant' candles also; there is a post on the blog above about fragrances.)
