Re: Sbish VS MEOS Bamboo, Which do you prefer?

SBISH for me as well. I've used both.

The small Sandys absorbs 12oz, MEOS 13 oz, large Sandys 17oz. The small Sandys fit till around 28lbs unless your LO has really chunky thighs. The large are humongous, they're falling off DD at 26lbs, but we stuffed them really full at night so they fit ok.

The SBish nighttime fitted is amazing, you should try it.

Thank you for this! I was about to order a large Sandy's for DS. He's a pretty long, chunky 20 lbs at 6 months. According to the sizing charts, 20 lbs is the max weight for the smalls so I was going to go with a large. But if it's huge on your 26 lb DD, maybe I should just get the small?

And I have checked out the Sloomb website for Sbish, but I'm not really sure which one is the nighttime? From what I can tell they're all the same - OBF - and you can just choose if you want snaps or not? They are expensive so I want to be sure I'm getting the right thing! LOL

mrsporubsky is selling one on FSOT, it's the sized style with snaps. I got mine from her. Oh, and it's a medium and fits DD perfectly with all three doubler layers.

Yes, get the small. Crawling, standing, and walking thin LOs down fast, so they'll fit for a while. FYI, Sandys take forever to dry. Weird because the small supposedly absorbs less than a MEOS, which dries very fast.

Really? The smalls fit until 28lbs? I tried one of the unbleached Sandys smalls on my baby a few months ago and it was too small. But he has probably thinned out. But even the rise was just too small. And I tried a Sandys unbleached large on him at the same time and it did not seem huge at all. He was probably 22lbs. So is the bamboo different? Does it fit longer? Thanks for your help!

Well, all babies are shaped differently, but I know DD chunked out at six months and I bought a bunch of large diapers, all of which were suddenly too big once she started crawling. She's off the chart for height, and the Sandys rise is fine on her.

For comparison, she's in medium FB, size 2 bamboozles, medium SBish and woolies, medium Thirsties, size 2 cricketts, and small Sandys.

They are both awesome in different ways!! I couldn't part with either one. That probably doesn't help though.

Thanks for your help! I think my LO is bigger than yours. He is 16 months and tall. I think the larges will be okay for us!
