Country Save & Planet

So I've washed in many things. I'm currently frustrated with Tide. R&G was kind of expensive for me.

SO I'm thinking of trying Country save, but also noticed that I can get Planet for the same price. Can any mamas tell me their experiences with these detergents before I take the plunge?

Also, I don't have an HE machine but notice country save is HE formula...will that make a difference?

Thanks so much in advance!

I use Country Save and really like it but we have a top loader and I've also only been cd for about 2 months. So maybe not the best person to answer your question. lol. But I like Country Save so much I want to switch all my laundry over to using it.

Re: Country Save & Planet

No problems using Country Save with a non-HE top loading machine here, we use it on all our laundry. Just use their recommended amounts for a non-HE machine.

I used Planet for the entire time (except for a couple months with Crunchy Clean) with DS and I am now using it for DD. I have a non HE toploader and it works great.

We wash all of our laundry in it.

I like planet for clothing, but it just wasn't a strong enough detergent for our diapers. It probably depends on your water, I think.

Planet was great for us with when DS was still EBF, but it just didn't get rid of the stinkies when he started eating solids.

Re: Country Save & Planet

I've used both and had no performance difference between the two (both work fine). I believe we have soft water and we're using a top loader. Between the two I probably like Planet best but I have absolutely no reasoning for that We have no stink issues whatsoever, but DS is into solids and we definitely have stains. I've been under the impression that no detergent alone is going to magically leave the dipes stain free, but I have thought about looking into that more.
