Re: ~Tell me your fav kids snacks~

My ds loves the Earth's Best sunny day snack bars (like granola/fruit bars), the rice crisp bars, and the yogurt smoothies.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...7s+best+yogurt

Both are super easy to throw in the diaper bag, and they don't have to be refrigerated... also these squeeze tubes of fruit blends and applesauce are awesome, and my son LOVES those too!!!

Also, any of the envirokidz snacks are great, and they feature an endangered animal on each different type of snack. They have lots of crispy rice bars that are great for on the go! (be sure to drag over the orange "drag me" button to see all of the products... you'll only see the cereals at first.)

Plus, we love Annie's Homegrown cookies and crackers... we just throw some nack bag for on the go... super easy.

Most items you can find on amazon... I get a lot of these things from my local Walmart and Publix though too. Good luck mama!

Not sure if you have a trader Joe's, but they have little snack packs of nuts that we love. DS loves Cashews. We also like their organic Applesauce packs. I hate to say I am a bit intimidated by the baby food aisle so DS has never really had any, except at other people's homes.

I also have to say the little cutie oranges are so great.

My kids love string cheese and apple slices. You can purchase them in little individual sized packs, easy to grab on the go. You can also buy baby carrots packaged like this. My boys also love granola bars, gold fish crackers, teddy grahams, cheerios (I bought one little container for the diaper bag, and I just refill it from the big box).

God bless!

Re: ~Tell me your fav kids snacks~

My new favorite for my DS is those applesause pouches. And the applesause is flavored. It comes with a lid and they squeeze it out. DS actually has learned to suck on it and get it out. They are great to throw in the bag and don't need to be cold. Plus if he doesn't eat all them, they have the screw on lid so I can seal them back up for later. They are all natural and there are several diffrent brands.

Re: ~Tell me your fav kids snacks~

Fruit
Cheese
Yogurt (I get the tube kind and stick them in the freezer)
Hummus and pita/carrot sticks/corn chips/pita chips
Nuts
Dried fruit (no sulfur)
Dates
Freeze dried fruit
Black bean dip and corn chips (can of beans, can of corn, can of rotel tomatoes, lime juice, police oil, garlic, salt and pepper...yum!)

For pre made bars, I LOVE the Lara Bars. The ingredients are whole foods, like for example the 'cashew cookie' flavor is dates and cashews. That's it. There is also a 'cherry pie' one that has dates, almonds and dried cherries. There are tons of flavors, but those are our favorites. It is super simple to make them at home too, and just wrap them individually...but I've found that the savings aren't really that great, and since this is one of our only convinience foods, I just buy them)
