I NEED help with my diva

Hey mamas,
I am in some serious need of some help. I have a diva size 1- I have a DD but my pelvis was too small to have her vaginally so I figured the size 1 would be ok. It fits ok but I can not get it to pop open. I try turning it and it still stays indented, so it leaks. I really want to use it, but for right now I am back to mama cloth and I am not a huge fan of it other than for a backup. Please, any help would be wonderful!
Thanks Ladies!!

Have you tried the push down fold? I find it pops open easier with that fold. Perhaps a problem your having is that you may be inserting it too far before allowing it to open. It could be kind of getting jammed between your vaginal wall and your cervix. This happens to me sometimes. I just pull it back out a little ways (not entirely), gives it a couples turns and move it around a bit. Once it opens then I push it back up while turning it.
Not sure how familiar you are with your lady bits, but I think that knowing the lay of the land is helpful too.

Bummer.... It may just be too small. Even if DD didn't come vaginally, your cervix has been pregnant and that tends to size you up. Also, I know that people who've struggled with the Diva often are happier with the LadyCup! Hope that helps, Mama!

I suggest circling a finger around the cup until you feel that its fully open. Make sure you don't insert it too far in- i cut off the nib for comfort. Try other positions inserting it- i.e. standing with one leg elevated.

Best of luck mama!

Oh, you could also try it inside out. I've heard that works for some ladies.

I agree with the push down fold and circling your finger around it.

I only insert it halfway before I let it unfold and turn it. Then when it pops open I push it in.

Hope that helps!

According to the Diva Cup company if you have ever been pregnant you should use a size 2 because your muscles have changed whether you gave birth vaginally or not. Just like women who are 30 or near 30 should also move up to a size 2 because your muscles change over time.

I hope it starts working for you!

I have to fold mine down too and then turn it almost two full times. I also only insert it half way and open it...then push it into place.

Yeah I did read that, I am just assuming if I can barely fit the size 1, the size 2 wouldnt fit?!?!
Keep all the suggestions coming, I think I will get to try them out in about a week
