I've never made it with raw cow's milk before so I don't know if that's the reason or not. Other things that could make it turn out runny is if the milk boiled while heating, or was too hot when the starter was put in and the bacteria was killed off instead of multiplying. The only other thing would be if you used ultra pasturiezed milk which you didn't. Sorry it didn't turn out.

It didnt boil, I had a meat thermometer, I added the starter when it said 120, and being raw milk its not pasteurized . Im sad it didnt work because your look awesome.

I've always done the crockpot yogurt kind(about a year now). We flavor before incubating iwth sugar and vanilla extract. After it's done I put homemade granola and cut up fruit in it. It's delicious. I have it usually almost every day for breakfast. It's a nice light breakfast with a good amt of protein before I run.

incubating? so you would add the sugar and vanilla before wrapping the towel around it and letting it sit for the 8 hrs?
