Bummis SuperLite??

I tried to do a search here about them and can't find much.

Anyone use these? Love? Hate? Just okay?? I LOVE Bummis Products so I'm totally interested in these, my one worry is the Velcro rubbing my baby's belly. Action shots would be awesome! Especially for the size Medium

Re: Bummis SuperLite??

I have one. I like it better then my BSWW but not as much as my Thirsties cover. I guess overall I am neutral. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it but would buy it if I got a good deal.

I like them in theory but I get horrible wing droop and the velcro on the tabs always scratches the heck out of my DD's legs because of it. I need to destash them or get them snap converted.

I really like mine. The velcro does not rub on my DD's belly. We use the mediums. I also like that they will fit for a long time.

I started this thread the other day and it seems like they do better for chunkier thigh babies. I have my 21 mo string bean DS in a medium and they leave red marks on his thighs and the wing droop scratches his leg. I like the cover itself though. It just needs the landing strip area re-worked a bit, IMO.

ETA- I still like my Super Whisper Wraps the best out of my covers. I liked the Super Brites when DS was little but I dont like that the exposed PUL was touching his skin. Same reason I dont like Thirsties (and they always leaked for me )

I have only tried the Super Brites (and recently) but I'm returning it. It has leaked the two times I have used it. I would rather use the Thirsties.

Re: Bummis SuperLite??

I wanted to love mine, but the velcro strip on the front rubs her red on both her belly above the strip, and on the legs where you pull it tight. If it had a little more space between the top of the strip and the top of the cover, and if there was some space between the end of the velcro on the sides, it would probably be the perfect cover.
They seem like good quality if the fit is right.

Re: Bummis SuperLite??

I had a medium for my chunky guy and I ended up selling it because it was leaving red welts on his legs from the stitching I think? His belly always rubbed on the Velcro too which I hated. They are made nice for the price though that is for sure.
