Re: White eye in photos

It never would have even crossed my mind to worry. I would have thought it was nothing more than lighting/the flash.

I'm pretty sure it's just the lighting/flash. I have a couple pics like that of random family members.

This. But, I think it is a good thing that you did get other pics at the same time with two red eyes.

Definately the lighting...I read that they have to be looking DIRECTLY at the camera for that to be an accurate indication...I'd be worried though, if it were my baby even though I know that..its just natural.

I knew a baby who lost his eyes due to this condition. His pictures did look different though. I would still get this checked Monday.

Go get it checked out!!!! There is a girl here in my office that is going thru this right now. Her son (15) months is blind in one eye, the other one has been removed and he is still going thru chemo treatments.

Re: White eye in photos

Most likely the lighting. My SIL is med student and totally freaked out when she took a pic of DS3 like this. ALL of his other pics were normal, and when I randomly took a pic of DS2 in the same area he had it too! It was the lighting over our bar area.

Try not to worry. This happens a lot. Get it checked out if you're not convinced or to feel better about it.
