Do you get picts printed to put in albums?

Does anyone here ever get picts printed out to put in photo albums? As a kid, I loved flipping through our family album so I've been printing out a few good picts (of the hundreds) to put in albums and my daughter LOVES looking at them. I'm just curious if I'm being old-fashioned and one of the only ones still doing this or do others do it as well?

you should check out www.shutterfly.com

you can import all your digital photos to the site and then create a photo book that's up to 100 pages! the quality is GREAT! i did one for my daughter's 1st year...sort of a baby book. i put her birth story in there and put all the pics in chronological order so it starts with her being born at home and page 100 is her eating her 1st b-day cake. we have one family album and then i just finished my son's 1st year. i waited until shutterfly was having one of their sales. i ordered the last 2 books @ 50% off and w/ free shipping ---> ended up paying $180 all together for both albums. it comes out WAY cheaper than printing all of your photos individually. we really enjoy flipping through the pages of each book!

Re: Do you get picts printed to put in albums?

I am waaay behind but still want hard copies. I have printed thousands but have started doing photo books on shutterfly too.

I loved flipping through our albums as a kid, and I want to be able to that for year to come. We mostly see our photos as a screensaver on our computer which we all really, really enjoy- but I still want hard copies.

I love hard copies too! I go back and forth between making the Shutterfly photobooks and just having prints made then I put them in photo albums (that's the cheapest option). I tend to go in spurts, cuz I get overwhelmed by the sheer number of digi photos that we have! Love love looking at photos in albums, though - they look more "real" than on the computer screen (though they also can look more out of focus and washed out than on the comp screen, I find, unfortunately!)

I print mine out about every 6 months or so. I use Shutterfly and Snapfish.

I haven't printed out pics for an album since DS was 6mo old...he's now 4.5 year old

I LOVE looking at photo albums...my mom has an entire closet filled with bookcases of photo albums.

I guess I'm just too lazy My mom now is into photo books and has been trying to get me to make some.

DF's DS carries his photo album everywhere, and especially when in the car. He loves pictures and wants to see them all 1second after you take them lol. We just get photo paper and print our digital pictures for him. He'll get to help us decorate the baby scrap book for his little brother soon, so he'll get his photo fill soon enough hehe.

I love the photobooks too because everything is neat, stays put, and you can add caption with names, locations, dates, etc. all at the same time! I made on on a good deal before Christmas as a present for the grandparents!
