I guess I should have said "promtoion ceremony" since it wasn't a full graduation with the stage and everything. It was an end-of-the-year ceremony where we received awards and parents attended. The only "true" graduation I had was in PreK (Head Start) and HS. The others were because I was moving to a new school each time.

How is kindergarten an accomplishment? Last time I heard, it was illegal for your child to NOT attend school of some sort. ????

Actually kindergarten is required in only a couple of states.

Oh, I see. Well even so, if a parent decides their child is going to kindergarten, then I would think in most cases the child has no choice anyway. Does anyone actually ask their kid if they want to go? Almost everyone I know would send their kid to kindergarten because it is cheaper than daycare anyway.

I'll have to check if kindergarten is a requirement here. I'm curious now.
