DIY Flip-type cover tutorial

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I just stumbled across it and thought it looked super simple! Just earlier in the week, I was just trying to figure out how to make a Flip-type cover with my DDU pattern and gave up (I'm not too good at winging it...). Definitely gonna try this next week!

I made one from the OS Sprout Snap pattern (my first time using it). It took me forever bc I kept screwing stuff up and I had a terrible time sewing the PUL together (my first time using only PUL and no other type of fabric too). It's not too pretty but it will hopefully be functional.

ETA: a tip--be sure not to add wing snaps until after you've sewn your back flap on. I applied all my snaps before sewing and had to remove my tab snaps--argh! This is probably obvious to everyone else, but I just can't seem to figure this stuff out unless it's written down!
