Dyed yarn and hair bows
I have been toying with the idea of opening a WAHM business forever. I am crafty like crazy, but it's hard for me to focus on one thing. So, I narrowed it down to things that are easy for me to make in quantity. I decided that focusing on two things would be acceptable for a shop.
I am looking at making hair bows for babies and dying yarn. I want to dye yarn that will be a bit more affordable than a lot of the WAHMie yarn out there. I.e. Cascade 220 or something. Anyone have interest in hand dyed cheaper yarn? A decent price for that? Here is an example of a bow a made recently as modeled on a Dollfie (japanese doll that is over two feet tall, so it's a medium sized bow) ![]() ![]() What do you think?

Re: Dyed yarn and hair bows
I used to dye yarn sock yarn. I loved it. I would love to see more handpainted worsted wt yarn... I think for 220 yard of worsted hand dyed 24-26$ is a good price.
