I've used this and it was very absorbent! I read on here you can get 24 for $14 at Sam's Club. I have Costco membership and haven't looked at Sam's but that would be a fantastic price!

Flats are the only insert I can put in my pockets and reliably never have a leak. The other day hubby put him in a HH pocket that was stuffed with a HH hemp stuffin and a grovia cotton doubler on top. First leak since I last tried to use a microfiber insert. I use GMD small flats for day time and a Medium sometimes with sometimes without a GroVia cotton doubler for night time. Never any leaks, washes easy, dries fast. love them!

glad it worked for ya. I might be heading to Sam's today, I'm so curious about what they sell there. I have enough flats but just want to check it out.

If I see some anybody want some?

bump because I made a tiny adjustment. I have used them for quite a few days and they've gone through many washings. They were coming out of the dryer bunchy in the middle and it was becoming a hassle to re-flatten them, so i put another straight stitch through the very middle of it .... and its literally....PERFECT. Come out of the dryer dry after one cycle (because they're still "open" and not serged on the edges or anything), and stayed completely flat and awesome, and all I had to do was "trifold" the long way and it was done.

I may need to add flats to my GMD order.

Re: The best 100% cotton, trim, size-adjustable absorbant insert (more pics added!)

I put two rows of stitches in mine going the length of the flat when it was long and skinny, and it held up perfectly in the wash. All I have to do is fold it in half to stick it in the diaper. I'm about to do some more so I don't have to fold them anymore.

Thanks again for the idea!!
