Re: soap
I use RnG. I have been buying it from a re.diaper in Hamilton but soon Ill have some myself to sell
. You can use it in a front loader as well.I do add Borax to it though to boost with any potential smell issues.

Re: soap
Anywhere - I use Tide powder, non HE b/c we have old machines. I've used Free & Clear, and Original. Both have worked awesomely!
I used to buy Nellies as it was a "natural" cleaner, and I also used to only use 1/2 the amount. Since ditching that system my dipes have been so much cleaner - no stinkies and no buildup (I just always include an extra rinse). |

Re: soap
I always used the Our Compliments HE stuff and it did a great job (although I know it wasn't super crunchy - it was priced right). We can't use Tide on our daughter because she breaks out in a brutal whole body rash and I won't risk it with the new baby, just in case.
I'm so curious about soap nuts. Do they really work? And do you save them for diapers only? How do you know when they're past their prime? |

Re: soap
I wish I tried it, but I can't find it in stores!
Tide nature gave my diapers an awful scent, apparently because of the enzymes in it. Using Bionature soap, fieldberries scent. Last edited by ameliej; 06-17-2011 at 01:17 PM. Reason: add info |
