Boiling prefolds - washing question

I've boiled prefolds before, and afterwards I just washed them (no detergent except for the dawn that was in with them while boiling) separately and dried.

Would it be bad if I threw other newborn diapers into the machine that I want to wash prior to newbie wearing them? The boiled dipes are GMD unbleached.
