Re: Would you name your LO Koa?

I voted no, mainly because I'm not a big fan of gender-obscured names. It's so embarrassing to have to ask a mom what the baby's gender is, even after hearing his/her name! I like to hear a name and immediately recognize if it's a girl or boy. Our mantra when choosing a name was "Distinct, not unique"-- something that people will recognize, but isn't too common.

We named DS Oscar, and love it. We also considered Cyrus for a while. I like pp's idea of Rowan; and the idea of finding another Hawaiian name is cool, too! Good luck choosing a name! DH and I did not agree on a name until we were literally in the delivery room, LOL.

I'm a fan! I think it sounds strong and masculine!

I like that name! I think it is unique! I don't know if my BF would go for it but I think if you both like it, you should use it! I voted yes

I like it! I've actually only heard it on a soap opera (Y&R) and it was a Hawaiian character.

I like it. DS2's middle name is Kekoa which means brave in Hawaiian.
