Do your baby wear CD in a hot weather?

My 10m DS refuses to wear CD recently when the weather is getting hot. Do you have the same issue???

No, not here. DD doesn't care, at least that I can tell. You could always do fleece or wool instead of pul, those options are much more breathable, so much cooler too.

What kind of diaper are you using? Maybe try natural fibers so they're more breathable?

No complaints from my toddler except if his snappi is on too tight or if he wanted "the boo (blue) diaper" His diaper covers are all breathable fleece or wool, no hot PUL for him or he'll get rashy.

I CD 100% of the time. I live in Houston and it is hot and humid here. I go coverless as much as possible and use wool when I can. I guess since we CD all the time DS doesn't complain since he knows no different. That being said sometimes babies don't want their diapers changed no matter what kind it is. It is a control thing, may have nothing to do with cloth.

How is your 10 month old "refusing" to wear cloth? Is he just extra wiggly and fighting changes? If so that's just what they do at that age. We do cloth 100% so yes when it's hot. We use prefolds, flats, fitteds and wool in hot weather. Certainly far more breathable than a disposable. IMO I would make sure ot's breathable and put it on him anyway. Let him roll around naked or coverless as much as possible.

Agree! My DS went through a phase where he didn't want diaper changes...and DS1 also went through that phase even though he worse sposies Sometimes you just have to pin them down and change despite all the crying.

No complaints here from either boy and we are in Central Texas. We use flats/ cotton fitteds most of the time with wool.

No complaints here, but we try to use wool most of the time. Although frankly, he doesn't complain in the PUL either as long as we're doing something fun. He does get sweaty in the PUL on hot days, so I try to use wool as much as possible.

Good to know everyones experience, its not hot here yet (we don't have a long summer) so I don't think we will have to worry about it.
