There are studies that have disputed hb and gender.

I have had 3 boys. All dif hb ranges. I have no faith in it.

Its about as accurate as any owt.

Re: HB vs Gender, OWT

I was thinking that by the time I get to my ob(about 25 min car drive, winding road all the way!), then go up to the office, check in, pee etc then the baby has got to be "asleep" with all that rocking and motion. I never really have to wait much, today didn't even take a seat and was in and out in 15 mins, including blood draw!

Those links are very interesting angel/Laura, thanks! Ah well, just another week to wait to hopefully know for sure. I know the hb was much higher at 12 weeks and 8 week dating scan so I do think it lowers the further along you get in pregnancy. So I do believe that and how activity affects it of course.

Re: HB vs Gender, OWT

With DS he was consistently over 150 and 160. This one is also in the higher range....also a boy. So for our family, the OWT does not ring true.
