Re: HOW do you go coverless???
My baby boy is 6 months. I just stick him in a pinned prefold. Sometimes my shirt gets wet, but I guess I just don't care.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
When she was very small, I just wrap her in a fleece or wool blanket or a larger prefold. Now that she is mobile, I just feel her as she runs by and change her quickly. We don't do it all day, more like a couple hours every day if it's not too cold.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
I didn't let my kids go coverless until they were walking fulltime, that way I didn't have to worry about the diaper rubbing up against the floor. I also will only use a thick, absorbent fitted, such as a Goodmama, while being coverless.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
I wasnt able to "enjoy" letting DD go coverless until she started walking. Before then, I would be holding her and when she peed i would get wet : (

I just touch the outside of the diaper often to check for wetness. Or I can tell with bamboo fitteds because when they get wet, they sort of harden.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
Haha well it looks like I've just got an excuse to get her some wool shorties because she's definitely a super soaker and that just wouldn't go well.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
Both my girls go coverless at home, I just check diapers often and as soon as they start to feel damp I change them

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
I must have a super soaker. When she wets, it's immediatly through her fitted. I usually end up with a wet pantleg or a wet couch from compression... I guess baby pee doesn't gross me out? The laminate flooring doesn't really mind either.

Re: HOW do you go coverless???
My DD let's me know the second she'd wet. I tend to use my really cute (and super absorbant) fitteds when i plan to go coverless, so it is a rare occasion when the outside of the fitted will feel wet before i know she needs to be changed. DS on the other hand would pee straight through whatever was on him (forceful pee-er) so we couldn't do coverless with him.
