Would you nurse someone else's baby?
Like a close friend or relative's LO? I think in some cultures this is more accepted but here it seems to have a lot of stigma attached to it.

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
Totally depends on the situation, but I wouldn't run out and get formula for a baby who only knows breastmilk if there was some emergency. If there was time and a bottle available, I'd probably pump/hand express first though, and give the BM in a bottle.

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
As long as they were as comfortable with it as I was. I couldn't imagine saying no to my sister or a hungry baby!

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
If I needed too
![]() There are a couple situations that I can think of. Like, my sister's baby I know she would be OK with it, and frankly... it's just easier ![]() Even a strangers baby in an emergency. If I was sitting with a FF mom in a FEMA shelter with no clean water to mix her formula I would quicker than a second. Like Lindsey said, if there were time available, I would probably pump and offer a bottle rather than struggle with latching a bottle baby. But I don't think it's icky
