Are Nikky covers gentle on thighs?

I *think* the only ones that have a laminate are the heavy duty poly. My heavy duty is newer and I can feel a laminate layer inside, but you are all good with the rainbow

There really is no 'best' Nikky. The cotton ones are absolutely breathable but are meant to use with frequent changes and might wick after long trips or if wet for an extended period of time. I love love the breathable polys. They are very breathable, perhaps slightly less than the cotton by a small margin, and I have never had wicking with them. The rainbows and prints work like the breathable polys.

As for best place to buy? There is Zabibaby.com she is a DS mama herself. Babybunz.com, Babyworks and naturalbaby.stores.yahoo.net. I have never ordered from the latter, but they have a buy 6 for $74 if getting the rainbow/prints/terry outer Nikkys. I actually like the fit of Nijis better than Nikkys, you might want to look into those too.

babyworks is a good place to shop. i just went there this week to get my nikky cover. they are really helpful. zabibaby is also wonderful and often has little freebies if you buy a couple of covers.

LOVE Nikky covers so much and love flats so how could you go wrong. We have used the rainbow and breathable poly at night with a Flip organic and DD's skin is perfect in the morning. Not a single mark or redness to be found.

So the breathable poly is good for night? I'd like something breathable for night. I'm thinking of getting the rainbow for day.
though not sure how many I need. I want something waterproof, maybe flips for outings.

I use breathable polys for outings because they dont wick.

Honestly none of them wick for me. We use the Rainbow overnight too and her pajamas are always dry and the insert is completely saturated. I don't have wicking with the 100% cotton either but I have never tried it for more than a couple hours. If I had to pick just one I would go with the rainbow. They are stretchy too so I would not size up. DD is 21lbs and in size large and will be for a while. We have one XL and it is too big with trifolding. It's fine when using with a secured diaper underneath though.

just wondering, what do you mamas use under them?
