Re: How old was your breastfed/bed sharing LO the first time you spent a night away?

He was 2.5, and it was because I was having my youngest daughter

Re: How old was your breastfed/bed sharing LO the first time you spent a night away?

I left DS for a business trip earlier this month for 2 (full) days and 1 night. He stayed with DH. It wasn't the best night, honestly -- DS cried from about 3 to 4am because he wanted 'mama muk'. He drinks cow's milk from a sippy cup at daycare, so the days were fine, but the night was a hard one. And he's been stuck to me even more since I returned.

I'd probably do an evening out this year and save the overnight for next.

Re: How old was your breastfed/bed sharing LO the first time you spent a night away?

My older DD was almost 3 when I first spent the night away from her - when I was in the hospital giving birth to her sister! I voluntarily let her stay overnight at her grandparents one night per month starting at about 3.5+ years, but instruct them to let her sleep in their bed. My younger DD is 26 months and I've never been away from her overnight yet.

Re: How old was your breastfed/bed sharing LO the first time you spent a night away?

My oldest was about two years old his first night away from me.
He was almost 2 1/2 the next time he was away from me, I was in the hospital giving birth to DS2.

DS2 is 3 1/2, DS3 is 15 months. Neither have ever been away from me for the night.

God bless!

I'd try a late movie for your anniversary and try a get away in a few months depending on how the late movie goes! Hopefully you have a family member that wouldn't mind some crying if that happened! HTH!

Over a year, was left with daddy. My od is 4 and has never spent the night anywhere. If my mom lived closer maybe, but an hour is too far.

DD was 14 months the first time she was away from me all night. It was this past March for DH's and my wedding anniversary. She did wonderful. I, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get her back that morning to nurse. My boobs were solid
